Herbalism & Cosmetic Making Workshop

You will be introduced to some of the wild plants and herbs that surround us, and learn about the ways in which they can interact with our body to promote vitality and health. With the potential for a strong balancing effect, some of the powerful ways in which herbs have been used to aid treatment over the centuries range from the treatment of allergies, digestive problems and skin disorders, to high blood pressures, immune deficiency and infertility.

On this afternoon introduction to herbalism workshop, Heather looks at a range of herbs that are often readily available to us, how we can connect with them for our benefit to promote wellness. You will be able to take part in a blind herb testing exercise and a herbal tea remedy making session, aimed to help you keep your internal fire burning throughout the autumn and winter months! You finish off using herbs to make your own natural body cream to take away.
