Make your own gentle, skin-friendly soap out of high-quality ingredients, using the traditional cold process! Your very first batch of soap will be unscented and uncoloured, and your second batch will be scented with a choice of essential oils and coloured with a choice of kitchen spices or natural clays. All ingredients and moulds will be provided, and you will go home with around 1kg of soap and a silicone loaf mould to make further batches in! You will learn how soap is produced, how to make it yourself with confidence, how to develop and calculate your own recipes, how to blend scents, and of course, the all-important safety procedures for working safely with lye.
